Ok so as many of you know I quit smoking and it has been 143 days!! Yay! My lovely wife let me spend my “savings” to buy a drone! It’s a Blade 350 QX3 quad-copter. Here is some video from one of it’s fist few flights. – If you really want to ge the full effect -watch it in full screen.
I am having SOOOOO much fun with this thing!
“Seven Nation Army”
I’m gonna fight ’em off
A seven nation army couldn’t hold me back
They’re gonna rip it off
Taking their time right behind my back
And I’m talkin’ to myself at night
Because I can’t forget
Back and forth through my mind
Behind a cigarette
There’s a lady who goes
To the store that won’t close
And she’s shopping at 7 Eleven
I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She’s coming in, 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say, “Hurry boy, it’s waiting there for you”
Somewhere in a lonely hotel room
there’s a guy starting to realize
That eternal fate has turned it’s back on him
It’s two a.m.
Travelling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said:
This is so incredibly funny…
To all my Birthday well wishers! Thanks!
At first I was going through all the posts on Facebook and honestly it was making me a little “blue”. I had the realization that I have probably lived more life than I have left.. It didn’t take me long to “shake it off”… Then I remembered this great song on the subject….
I think I’ll take a moment, celebrate my age
The ending of an era and the turning of a page
Now it’s time to focus in on where I go from here
Lord have mercy on my next thirty years
